Whenever I try to open the demo of Amnesia, I get the small window for configuration, but when I try to launch all I get is this: http://img546.imageshack.us/img546/2204/...aerror.jpg
Any clue what this means?
attach us here the file HPL.log found under Documents\Amnesia\Main folder. What operating system do you have?
Windows 7, and here's the log
Hey, i tught that i just needed the same help but can you get something that works for windows xp? I have the same crash problem and i just dont understand how to fix it O.o
Hi,

I am having a similar problem. I have downloaded the free demo and when I try to launch it on steam I get a black screen which then closes and for a very short time I get an error window which closes before I can read it. I think it says that it is collecting information on the error, but it doesn't really do anything. I have nothing to update on my system and I am on Windows 7. My driver is Intel® HD Graphics with a Pentium chip type and the date on it is 24/06/2010 so I think I am able to run the game on it. Here is the HPL, which I think is also okay from what I have found in my search so far. I have no idea what to do! From what it says in teh hpl i think it's the graphics card but I thought I could run it.
