This time I get to the end and instead of the message "it has successfully been downloaded" I get "Windows has determined the driver software for your device is up to date" So....I'm not sure what to do now
Thank you for the help thus far by the way
What is your exact laptop model? If you do not know send me your service tag through pm
Here is a link to it. Has the model number as well as other specs

You have Windows 7 x64? Can you verify that? If yes, then things change.

1) Uninstall current Intel drivers from device manager. Also check the box that says to delete the drivers from the computer as well.

2) Download this(Windows 7 x64 and not x86 that I gave you before):

http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_D...Drivers%0A

3) Follow the guide below:

I searched dell site and they have not updated their AMD & Intel drivers since 2010. So, only the above can help you...

If x64 means 64 bit, then yes. So if things change, does that mean I do what you said just now, or that there are other directions for 64 bit?
No, the previous thing did not work because the drivers were 32-bit. Now I gave you the link to the 64-bit Intel driver and windows should update them using the have disk method. So:

Is it possible to just disable the driver, or do I have to remove it completely? I'm just worried that if this doesnt work and I uninstall and remove, I may be left without a driver at all(unless it was one of those I could install via the intel website. I do not recall if it was)
there will not be any major problem, you will be able to install a new driver. The laptop won't behave normally but you will be able to install a new driver. If you don't want to, do not uninstall the previous one. Just do the have disk method I told you:

1) Download this(Windows 7 x64 and not x86 that I gave you before):

http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_D...Drivers%0A

2) Follow the guide below to install the driver above:

Oh wow it works! It also seems I got my Intel HD graphics pack back too! Thank you so much!
I knew it would work when done correctly. Have fun playing the game! I will add this solution to my AMD+Intel HD topic.
