Umh like, how do i get the texture. I had opened my model in the model editor but it had only the raw. the colors and picture how do i put them in and as what file format?

Read the thread I linked (that is if you are using Maya) and you MAKE the texture in a program such as GIMP or Adobe Photoshop. Either will need a downloaded .dds support plugin (Google should provide easy answers). Then save it as a .dds. If so, make sure your texture is of the power of 2. For example:

256x256
512x512
1024x1024
