Should Penumbra continue?

The Penumbra story is done. Though I'd love a new game involving elements from Penumbra, like the Archaic.

I agree. The story behind the organization is so vast and I think it could really use some in-game expansion. I just hope they get Tom Jubert back as writer if they ever decide to continue Penumbra in some way.

People said the same thing about amnesia before amfp was announced. So why isn't is possible to make a new penumbra? or just do it as amfp, in the same universe.

I'd rather have a new story. Something new and something fresh. I'm sure Frictional games could create another amazing game. They have some crazy vivid minds.

I imagine the plotlines aren't that related, and it's called an amnesia game because it has the same style and premise as amnesia tdd. You could say that the penumbra story and amnesia story all happened in the same universe, we have no real proof otherwise.
After people finished Amnesia they were desperate for more amnesia because it was only a one game deal, penumbra had three games.

Well, it can be a differentt game, but the title can still be there. I'm pretty sure that you can have a different plot with ''penumbra'' as a title.

Why would you want to? Penumbra is the title representing the series with Phillip in the Archaic. You can't just slap that name on something else.
