When I played the game, I almost never used the lantern (the idea of being a moving light source was a bit too unsettling at the time), but I couldn't get enough tinderboxes.

I think it's always nice to have some variety and give the players freedom (and thus responsibility) in deciding how to spend resources. There is more uncertainty that way.

For me it didn't matter the light source, but which light source I ran out of first! Sometimes it was the tinderboxes, other times the Lantern. I wish I could pick up those candlesticks I light up... instead they are glued to the table. Who does that?

Not that I know of. It is getting quite boring here since were all anxious for new information about AMFP.

You know. I remember when we the community had to solve an ARG puzzle given to us by Frictional Games and thechineseroom. I also remember when we had a countdown for the first AMFP Teaser. I was with a steam group having a discussion while the numbers ticked down.

Man we were excited. I love it when Frictional Games gives us a puzzle to solve. It becomes the best community involvement ever!

It looks like people are pretty desperate for information so they're doing a lot of speculation to try and fill the void. But pretty much everything has been discussed already so we're not really getting anywhere
