I remember watching that documentary. Everything seemed relatively credible until the moment that clip came on. I called bullshit at that very second.
Yeah sorry to anyone who legitimately believed that that video was real, but that was so obviously bullshit it's not even funny.

The video is so painfully obviously fake. It comes off to me as a few teenagers who wanted to make a scary video and made the effects look really good. Added a little suspicious story to it, and I feel bad that people actually believe it... It was on a show my dad had on tv and he refused to believe it was fake and got mad at me for saying so. He's like "If these people say it's a mermaid and there's A VIDEO OF IT, why would they lie about it?"
