i want to make a tropical forest, with water etc, and while you walk through the water, there are also some tropical tr[/align]ees, i realy need those and i can't "texture" in Maya.
So I can only give a WHOLE object made in maya, 1 color xSad

RE: Tropical Trees ?!

Make sure they are exported in a program like Blender as a .dae file. Otherwise it won't recognize the object in HPL.

Look around the forums to see how to do that. I can't tell you myself.

Oh, I think I know how to, Because one of those tree's had "collada" as it. that means .dae file, So I opened it in the Modelview, and it was too big, and 180 degrees rotated, also without texture. But when I used ALL the files (with tree 2, 3, 4,5 Etc all the way to 9.)

RE: Tropical Trees ?!

You can use blender to scale it down. Smile Ask someone else about the textures and how to apply them in Blender.
