These errors go on for a while, but like I said the game runs.
Should I be concerned about this?

If game runs fluently without any problem, you should not have anything to worry about.

Well I do have another "problem" : the running speed is SO SLOW Sad , it's like the whole game is running in slow motion. Walking speed is just ridiculous and running is a tiny bit faster. Even running is much slower than walking in most games. I set most graphic options to Medium and my res at 800x600 because I have a 7+ year old pc with a GeForce 7800GS card (AGP).
Is this just how it is with everyone?

probably an outdated driver that does not support OpenGL very well or a weak card. Attach us the whole hpl.log file to check that but if it runs leave it be. Don't mess with it...

No it is not a problem, the character is slow at the start as he is dizzy and what not. Continue playing and it will get faster.

If you're still having problems after the start, set amnesia.exe to disable visual themes in compability settings, that was the problem for me! (too bad I figured that out AFTER finishing the game...)

Ok thanks Jens.

I got the answer but here's the log file anyway.
The card is not THAT weak, I got around 47fps average while I fired it up just now.

No that didn't change it but ... (see above).

Thanks everyone.

Alright, the game it working fine I guess but you can still make sure you have the latest nvidia driver installed for Windows XP:

Yes I could do that but I tend not to try and fix things that work (and risk messing things up) and since Jens explained me what the reason was I'm going to stick with my current drivers, but thanks anyway.
"If it works, leave it alone!" This is a Microsoft OS we're talking about. Big Grin
