Great!
A fix for the vertical sync will also get added to the patch. It will be possible to turn off Adaptive VSync (not recommended to turn it off since it makes the game slower on slow computers)

Yes, it's working. Game crashes if I try to start with original exe.

The wireless receiver I'm using is bought off eBay, so I don't think it's officially manufactured by Microsoft. It does, however, work with the official Microsoft drivers.

The thing with V-Sync I noticed was, that when it was set to ON in game, it would show a few tears when fps dropped below 60. After I forced it from the driver (still ON in game), whenever fps dropped it would no longer show the tear, but instead a small stutter, probably skipping a frame to avoid tearing. Using Nvidia GTX660ti.

Ufff, works now! Thx for quick patch.

I have an old Logitech WingMan USB controller plugged into my PC and I was getting the same crash. I read that you guys thought it was because there was a bug in detecting gamepads, so on a whim I decided to unplug my controller and see if it would run. I can confirm that with no controller attached, it runs fine.

I tried that too and after I enabled Adaptive vSync the blue haze thing started appearing. I set it back to application-controlled but the blue haze is still there. Maybe the vSync issue and the blue haze are related? For me, it happened when I enabled Adaptive vSync.

Its not working for me.

I start the game. And after a few seconds the task manager tell me: inactive

I have win8 64, cata 13.10, i54670k, HD7870.

Hope there will be a solution soon its disappointing when a preordered game not work.

Remove the beta catalyst 13.10 and install the latest stable one from AMD which at the moment should be 13.4

RE: New possible fix to crash at startup - Patch - YoYo - 09-10-2013

I have 13.4 and this fix and works well now.

It seems that again the latest AMD beta drivers have broken OpenGL support. Oh AMD, you will never learn...

There seems to be something wrong when detecting gamepad support on some computers. The new version uses DirectX input for gamepad input.

Well where is it? I dont see anything to download Sad
