That would be ideal in my opinion too. However, it's kinda hard to achieve in a way that doesn't sacrifice viewing enjoyment.

Only way I can think of is the way I did the blurred video. Except that I replace the blur with a stationary image, as mentioned before.
And even then, little of the gameplay gets hidden behind the facecam.

Which border? There are two. One for the whole video itself and another one for the facecam.

Personally I think the facecam should always have a border. Since in my opinion it looks very cheap if it's just put on top and the cropped.

I meant the facecam version, it doesn't reduce the size of the video so much as the whole side border.

I didn't realize until now that you had just looped the facecam video. I was wondering why you were making the same expressions all the time. lol.

lol. Big Grin Yeah, it's about 15 second long video.

The first feels the best of course, but everything I was going to bring up was already brought up, so yeah, seems all good. =P I'll be sure to sub when and if you make a starting youtube account. Any specific type of gameplay you'll be doing? e.g. reviews, walkthroughs, lets plays, etc

Voice over about my personal life, thoughts and feelings and Let's plays with a facecam from games I am interested to play. Also have plans to start serious collecting as a hobby at some point, but that's currently only in babies shoes... What else? I have no idea yet. Only time will tell. I'll possibly have everything set up the next month, if everything goes OK.

Oh, and Red, about what I meant:

It's not exactly optimal to watch either, since there's so much wasted space within the actual video. There is a video inside a video. Vidception...

Thanks for all the votes and tips!

I will be using the first version in my widescreen videos and stationary pattern with non-widescreen.

Maybe smaller facecam. That should shrink the border
