(SOLVED) End User License Agreement question - aniruddha - 05-24-2007

During the purchase of Penumbra: Overture for Linux I came across the following line in the End User License Agreement:

Quote:4. The Software may be loaded onto no more than one computer. A single copy may be made for backup purposes only.

I wonder what this means. I own a desktop and laptop, does this mean I have to purchase a version for each computer? I can't imagine that that is true?!

The intended meaning was:

4. The Software may be loaded onto no more than one computer at a time. A single copy may be made for backup purposes only.

Thank you for pointing it out!

That is good news! Big Grin. As you now I was afraid it was meant to be interpreted in a Microsoft kind of way (the software being licensed to one physical machine). Now you know you gotta be careful with Linux users, they tend to read the license Wink.
