Delete Amnesia folder in Documents and try again. Don't change anything in the launcher.If it fails again then attach us launcher.log after having tried to run the game once.

Still doesn't work, I've reinstalled like you said but It's giving me the same problem.

try launching the game by amnesia.exe directly. Go to the game's steam program files folder and you will find amnesia.exe there.

The exe goes straight to the launcher which I'm stuck on.
