White Night Fatal Error - Foppa21 - 12-30-2011
Hi, I am currently playing the TC mod White Night and I am at the part where you are outside and about to enter the hospital again. The problem is that when I enter the main door everything freezes or something and the screen goes black. I then end the game and there is a error message (attatched image) on the desktop. How can I fix this? I have to finish this game

You need the Justine patch.

Unless you purchased the game from Desura, i don't think you'd be able to install the Justine patch from Desura. Where did you get your game from?

I am playing on a friends computer, dont know where he got it. But read on a website about the problem. Seems like I have the buy the updatet game through desura and then install the mod again.

The patch is free to download. http://support.frictionalgames.com/entry/98/ But the patch is unnecessary for purchases made from Steam or Desura (and new purchases from the FG store).

It's probably a pirated version because they have Justine items but not the updated binary file.
Desura is useful to install White Night, not to update the game unless you bought it from there.

Actually, the one i downloaded from the FG store didn't have the updated launcher, but it brought all the Justine items.

Umm, what?
Amnesia.exe is either 1.2 or not. If it's 1.2 then it's successfully updated, or default installation is already 1.2 like download version from FG store is 1.2 at the moment.
I tried to talk all people who had this problem and they either copied the game from their friends without knowing if it's pirated or not; or directly pirated (confession, yeah).
So far, none of the people who bought the game from FG Store, Steam or Desura had this issue, which is not surprising at all.
