Custom sounds problem! - Viuffuz - 01-02-2012

Okayyy I have a problem with custom sounds. I replaced the monster sounds. They work. But!!!! It's not in stereo, like if a monster is in my left, I don't hear the sound from my left speaker. I hear it in the middle. Why is that?!

Go into the .snt and scroll over to "Use3D" and make sure it is set to True.

Yeah, they are set to True. What else could cause the problem?

Have no idea, Are you sure you set it to "True", with the capital "T"; sorry that's all I can offer in help Big Grin

Is the sound rendered in mono?

RE: Custom sounds problem! - Tripication - 01-05-2012

I worked on this for a while before i gave up, and i have some kind of idea that it might be the audio file wasn't originally meant to use Surround sound...

It may be a far shot, but if you want, you can go into an audio editing that might have a multi track system(FL Studio, Cubase or maybe even Audacity[although im not sure]) and try to Duplicate the sound, but make one of them Completely Right and the other one Completely Left. i might give it a quick shot in a minute and post back...

That is a Negatory, It doesn't work...
Well, i'm stumped, but someone has to figure this problem out, it gets the best of us...Good luck

Alright guys so here's the deal! It works when you render the file in mono. Then just replace the original .ogg file from Amnesia folder and use your own files instead. Smile
