Penumbra Overture windowed mode - Dynomite33 - 01-07-2012

I want to record a LP of Penumbra Overture but I use Xsplit so it needs to in windowed mode. but there
is no option for windowed in the in-game options.
anybody have an answer?

[note to Frictional games developers]
before releasing the game ALWAYS include a windowed mode
ALWAYS Angry

Go to default_settings.cfg found somewhere in the folder where you installed Penumbra: Overture and open it up in a notebook. From there you will find a line that says FullScreen="true".
Change 'true' to 'false' and save the file.

you could also use Fraps which is better.

I don't see how that helps.

I got my copy of Overture from The Humble Indie Bundle #4
so there is no settings.cfg in the installation folder
EDIT:
found it
it was in the redist folder
under config
I dunno why in the world you told me to look in the installation folder :/

Well sorry that I accidently forgot that there actually was a folder named 'installation' in the installation folder of the game.

I meant to say that check the folder where you installed the game.
Edited my first post for future smartass readers.
