I had played Amnesia without seeing any gameplay, and only knowing the smallest parts of it (My name is Daniel, it's apparently really damn scary).
When I first played, I had taken FG's advice and tried to immerse myself to the game in the best way possible. I felt like I was Daniel, with no knowledge of his past; this was perfect.
- I had never seen the monsters before (Like Post-Potion Daniel)
- I had no idea why I was here (Pre-Finding the notes, like P-P Daniel)

I tried to play this game as if I was Daniel, trying to feel like I was him, trying to get into his shoes. The game was fun, and scared the living shit out of me.

If the immersion of the game wouldnt reach me, I would play something else. I am glad that after many hours of custom Stories i still get scared good.
