Penumbra BP crash - Sazs - 02-29-2012
Hi,hope you ll be able to help me. I've bought the game today on Steam but when I launch it, the game crash whitout any warnings and take me back to the desktop.
I've tried to reinstall it but I still got the same pb.
My specs :
AMD Radeon HD 6800 Series
2x2 go RAM
AMD Phenom II X4 Black 955
W7 64bit Pro

Do you have up to date drivers installed?
Also installing OpenAL is needed.

OpenAl is already installed, my drivers are up to date. What could i do next?

Yeah I have a similar problem I think. Trying to open BP and it just crashes with this "penumbra.exe has stopped working" etc... Thing is I've been able to play it before, although that was a couple of months ago..

Maybe something got updated in the system, try re-installing the drivers for the graphics card by downloading the latest available from the manufacturer's website. Possibly also check My Documents for a penumbra folder and in it remove any settings files.
