Crashes During First Load - LostAsleep - 03-15-2012
The computer I am using is a Lenovo E420 Laptop with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. I have already updated the graphics card with the method recommended, and tried as many other things as I could before I decided to post.
My problem is..that I get through the start up, but once I get to the first loading sequence (the one right after I've set the gamma correctly), the game crashes, and has no chance to even complete an error report before it terminates.
I have attached the hpl.log below as well..

Your Intel HD drivers seem to be corrupted. Uninstall them completely and then use the have disk method again.

I just followed your advice, and nothing has changed still. Is there anything else that I could try?

you can try a google search, your problem is with your drivers and thus with the the operating system configuration.

I'm not quite sure what you mean. So completely wiping the drivers from the computer, then reinstalling as per the directions here isn't all I need to do?

This is for Nvidia and AMD graphics cards, not Intel ones. For Intel, go to control panel>Add and Remove programs and uninstall Intel HD drivers from there. Then after restarting, use the have disk method to install the latest driver again.

I've done this, and it still hasn't changed a thing.

This is an operating system/driver problem and so I cannot help more. These problems must be solved by person.
