Amnesia and Penumbra crash after 10 seconds - DaBananaboat - 03-17-2012
Hi,
Whenever I launch Amnesia: The Dark Descent, or any of the Penumbra games, the borders become red and the game client crashes within 10 seconds of my starting it. I updated my ATI Driver(I have a ATI Radeon HD 5770 if that helps) and I tried to reinstall Amnesia, but that didn't work.
It worked perfectly fine before...
How can I solve this?

Avast can be conflicting? I had Avast running all the time before too. And the Steam Overlay is kind of bullshit, I have the Steam Version.
I uninstalled Avast and installed AVG, that seem to have fixed the problem. Thanks! ^^
