So yes, it's part of the in-game set-up.
WAIT!

So what you're telling me is THAT is IN-GAME?! Like for real? So the video is telling the truth... ("Consists of In-game footage" or something like that)

You guys are transforming Amnesia into something beyond ANYONE has done. o.o I like it.
Yup, Palistov is semi-godly when it comes to scripting. So that along with a few artists to draw designs for the interface of it and Traggey's badass modeling skills we got this.

Bitch please, I had to draw the HUD myself. gedafuggoutkman Sad

And yes. What you see there is the framework for, um. A lot of pretty badass stuff.

Well, a lot of people.
Rigi, Palistov, Statyk, Acies, Traggey, Obliviator, and Darkadders

And then me and Triadtimes just sit there clogging up the chat since we don't have the experience to do anything good for it Big Grin

We're Timorem. We have a ModDB page, for reference.

Oh, so you ARE making FEAR 2.

I didnt see alma, or any of the supernatural shizz, or weapons, or anything to do with F.E.A.R. This is the 1st time this has been done in hpl2, so forgive them if it reminds you of another game, it is very unique and deserves some respect.

I haven't seen any other games where the HUD is in the glasses.
My disrespect or respect aside, what do you care if a noob like me wouldn't respect your project for some reason? My first rule of modding is: "People will hate your mod." There will always be someone who does somewhere.

One would merely hope it's not for a reason so petty as "Oh yeah it reminds me of that one game."

RE: A glimpse at the horizon - palistov - 04-30-2012

I'm with you on this one, OCM. I hate my mod too. It's evil. I swear it's plotting to destroy me. Last week I found it trying to eat my homework.

Sometimes you want to play more of a game too. I'm perplexed on why you'd want to use this engine, but I'll probably play this anyway.
