I like the model a lot but i'm a little bit confused...
what does the monster use to attack with? I mean he got no arms nor a head. Sure he got a head but it's split up in half. I havn't tried this in action yet but i will but as for now i'm quite curious about the logic of the actual attack animation it self. Though i most say good work, a new monster is always useful!

Have you guys tried it out in a test map? Although I must admit its weird.
It's idle stance is floating in the air, and when it attacks. It turns horizontal and start to chase after you. xD

I tried making it blend together better but then it looked even more stupid, i have not tried animating something flying before . But atleast its a new enemy : P

Agree i like it but i do have a request sort of? could you change the sounds of the monster to somthing that we havn't heard instead of the default once. I don't find the scary anymore. And yes i did try out the new monster in a test map. And i liked it.
