That may be, but Courage is one of the most prominent series in that regard. ...but it's hard to tell, as I haven't grown up with Cartoon Network.

I would argue Ren and Stimpy is more prominent. Some of that stuff isn't even safe for adults (but still great). Tongue

don't have a problem with what CrankyOldMan says, I just hate how
everyone else instantly takes it to heart and has to start their own
little war with him.
Which was honestly not intended. If somebody says something I don't agree with then I comment on it. Maybe you just detected some hostility that wasn't present; I just wanted to raise a point.

I'm just saying that the show might have been consciously made for adults, but you're taking it as some kind of accusation.
Seems like more than one did. Maybe it's my way of speaking, I don't know, I honestly didn't want to start a flamewar. Still, I think saying "How can you assume this?" is just asking for some sort of reply.

My problem was mainly that people won't recognize "seinen manga" in north America, because they think that if it's animated, it's automatically for kids.

Oh, I am not saying animated = kids at all. Also, though I don't have any real respect for mainstream anime nowadays, I fully appreciate its validity as a mature art form (Spirited Away is one badass movie).

Hey Cranky, don't go making a bad impression on my very first thread on the Frictional Games Forum okay? No need for being a childhood killer and also being..

Heh, there's a reason why I named myself Cranky Old Man instead of SuperBadassMonkeyDude: I just want to script - not get into forum fights or get warned or banned and such things. The flawless victory goes to Bridge.

More of just saw a chain of replies between you two stretching across a few pages and assumed what was going on. Stopped reading what was said after the first 3 or so posts :l

Yup, I remember it. A few episodes did freak me out.

It's always nice to see a episode time to time.
