Looking for particular kind of custom story - Grilox - 06-17-2012

Does anyone have any recommendations for a custom story that's heavy on text/note-gathering and exploring?

I like playing custom stories but so many are really light on readin' things, or don't have much exploration to do.

Thanks!

One Light in the Darkness, you practically spend the first half of it reading.

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried it out and enjoyed it, but it ran out of stuff to read really fast.

Well uhh... Don't know what to tell you. I've played a lot of custom stories and that's by far the one with the most reading in it. Study of Insanity had quite a bit if I remember correctly, but if you seriously didn't think OLitD had enough to read in it it probably won't be satisfied.

It sure FELT like it had more reading than OLitD. I enjoyed it quite a bit. Thanks for the suggestion!

Poisonous and followed by death have a ton of notes.

try out "deterioration". its pretty solid, with a complete mindfuck twist to it. by far the best custom story i have ever played!

By a book. . . And READ IT! *Epic pose*
But let me ask you; is it really just reading that you like, or is it the simple immersion into story?
Or is it. LITERATURE!
One immersive story I've dealt with is "To Give Is To Force", that has a sorta fucked up little story going on. But be warned. If you're simply looking for a laidback walk through the park, then THAT ISN'T IT! Cause it's a game, you play on the computer.

Where am I?
