Installation Problem - VixanValentine - 06-17-2012
I feel as though this may have already been asked, but my head is already spinning from searching for the answer.
I bought and downloaded Amnesia from Gamestop, and I would like to play custom stories, but I can't figure out how to do it at all. Everything I find keeps saying about Steam-Downloads for it.
I have Windows 7, which, I guess that's a necessary bit of information. Any help would be appreciated.

Most likely you have a folder somewhere called Amnesia: The dark descent. There should be a file inside somewhere called redist (Or something similiar) and inside there should be a file called custom_stories. Most custom stories you just shove the map folder in there. If the file is like an installation custom story just add all files to your redist folder and run the .BAT file. (I think it is something like that for the version you have. I'm not 100% sure.)
