The picture is too distracting to notice.

I'd cast Ben Barnes, as he seems just like Daniel. But I think the movie should be recorded like REC or Quarantine, on first person, just like the game. It would give it a more terrorific touch

Because that worked out so well in Doom. POV-horror (especially those recorded on camcorders) are and have always been pathetic and gimmicky (not to mention lazy). It also doesn't automatically make it more terrifying at all because terror is more than just what is on screen, terror is also in the cinematography, lighting and editing pace. It's a subtle art that is thrown away with these "realistic" movies.

While camcorder films can be done very well, and many have, I would think that Amnesia would be a very bad choice for one. In Amnesia, there would be too many details in the game that would be omitted, or overplayed to show that they're there. A more dramatic, cinematic experience would be more terrifying to me. That's the side of Amnesia we haven't seen yet, why not use that one?

I have another suggestion. Daniel Craig. He is older than most suggestions and with long hair he would suite the role well I believe.

I loved Cloverfield and agree with Rob.

I vote Alexander Skarsgard as Alexander. Because he's blonde and a hot piece of ass.

Clint eastwood seems like an alexander to me. He has that harsh face and intimidating air to him. If he had longer hair he'd definitely look the part.
