A modeler of interests? - ferryadams10 - 08-21-2012

Nope.

RE: A modeler of interests? - Arvuti - 08-21-2012

Do you guys have any experience with this or is it the first time doing something like this ?

Also licensing cryengine 3 takes up to 1 million dollars, licensing UDK takes 100 dollars + small amount of profits.

We are certainly aware of that, and that's the reason why we've picked out the UDK engine.

So if we're going to make the game for commercial use we are willing to pay the company of Unreal

And yes we have some earlier experience with Amnesia and I've made some fps shooters for gaming websites.

Not all by myself ofc but I learned allot of it.

So would you be of any interests in helping us in this project?

But yes it is the first time we're going to make a serious game.

and with serious game I mean a game with a real story in it and good gaming experience.

Look you are going to have a hard time finding someone willing to help you guys, doubt people would be interested in helping someone who hardly has any experience and then the only description you give of your game is
Quote:The game genre is going to be Tactical Espionage Action.
With allot of sneaking around and ghosting down the enemies by silenced weapons and more.
It'll especially will find place in a jungle environment.
I joined the game I am currently working on because the guy working on it made a thread with a long post detailing all of the features the game would have and proof that he has done some work already in programming part.

You guys are better off making something smaller, even if you happen to find some people the project will almost certainly fail.

Well thank you for the motivation we appriciate it but atm we're in need of a modeler, so please only react if you have questions or if you wanna join us in the project.

RE: A modeler of interests? - Traggey - 08-21-2012

I'm a modeler, and I can't say I'm the least interested in your project due to serious lack of information.

We've seen no previous work from you and you can't expect one single modeler to create every asset in your game, not going to happen.

There's not a large ammount of modelers around these forums, I suggest you try somewhere else such as the polycount forums.

RE: A modeler of interests? - ferryadams10 - 08-21-2012

I know and we haven't released a game yet but this is just like a first experience in a big game.
So just ask what you wanna know cuz we could really use someone to model.
And we already have allot of models done by ourselves but we could use some help for more models.

and maybe some help improving our modeling skills

Let us see then, would be better to show off something that you guys have done rather than just make at thread and barely explain anything about the game.
