Yeah I don't have any trouble using WASD, I've actually found when I just idly have my hand resting on my keyboard it naturally goes to those keys (well, more specifically the keys that Andy mentioned in his post) so it just feels right.

Arrow keys are only acceptable if the game is so old that it has no mouse look feature (Gothic 1, Might and Magic 6...) because in that case the movement is controlled by the right hand. If the right hand is occupied with the mouse its way more comfortable to have the left hand at the left side of the keyboard.

I'm used to having the WASD keys. My hand feels quite comfortable that way.

I used to do arrow keys when I was younger, but now if I try to do it, I just can't.

I've played Gothic (1) with WASD and mouse with no problems?

Same way than we, but reversed? Right hand on keyboard and left hand on mouse on the left side of the keyboard.

Maybe lefties use IJKL instead of WASD -- pretty much a mirror of the normal right handed position*.

* = All of this under the assumption a QWERTY keyboard is being used
