Amnesia editor - Testing help? - Racingcreed - 12-08-2012

I'm just wondering if there's a quicker way to test a map, perhaps a way I'm unfamiliar with. The way I test my level is create a section in the editor, save the map and load up Amnesia, load the custom story and test it that way, but I've seen in a few videos on YouTube that there is in fact (perhaps other ways) of doing this. Where you're able to walk around the map, and "quick reload" the map to add the additional features you've implemented to the design.

Just curious, wanting to learn everything and anything. Smile

Thanks,

RC

Read Setting Up Development Environment on the wiki. Once everything is set up, you will be able to show the debug menu by pressing F1, and quick reload the map, as well as test scripts for errors without causing the game to crash.
