ı m new for this game but ı cant pass the hall,cold air.what must ı do.in order to pass

This MAY be where you're talking about:

Spoiler below!
Near the beginning, you see a vending machine; right as you get of the vent. Use the coin (been told even hitting it with a rock or something works), to get a can of pop/soda.
When you get near that cold air area, jump down (where you heard something run across), turn right into the freezer and use the soda on that thermostat or whatever it is. that will do the trick. If you're talking about some other area; let me know.
