Well yes, the note does disappear... but that's the problem. I don't want it to disappear. I believe ResetProp will work (as the chaser suggested) although I think it will just create a bunch of note entries in the player's journal. I'm going to try when I got home

Well, ResetProp did nothing. It didn't make the book re-appear again after the player picks it up.
