HEY EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I HAVE INDEED CHECKED THE BOARDS SO PLEASE DON'T GET ANGRY
I have a Dell Vostro 1000 which is a laptop and i have recently bought Amnesia: The Dark Descent and my computer SHOULD be reading it because it has the minimum requirements for it BUT it wont work. Apparently my graphics card is out of date, but I've downloaded patches and everything what do i do? to be specific the message that pops up is something about a Fatal Error and i dont know what to do. I've looked specifically for my laptop type with Amnesia trying to see if anyone else has had this problem but I haven't found any of it. Please if you can help can you post the websites where I can get patches if needed and if theres anything I can do to get the game running? any weird tricks or whatever? thanks all

what is problem x and which troubleshoting guide is it i noticed there were two..... and i theres a file in the amnesia folder with the title "htp.log" but my computer says it doesnt know which program to run it with. Is this what you mean by htp.log? and what program is used to open this?
