Error/Crash when trying to record with razor game boost software - uk2008 - 02-08-2013
wanting to record gameplay footage with the razor game booster software but everytime i click record the game crashes/bring's up the error console.
what can i do?

Where do you get the game? (Sometimes, ask your shop vendor. They may have the solution.)

Well something is wrong with a .mpeg file error. Just use another recording software. (BandiCam and FRAPS is a good choice, but you must buy it.)

We cannot offer support for third party recording software. Most probably it is not compatible or causing issues.

Why would FG give support for these programs? If they work ok, if they don't there is nothing that can be done but to inform the developers and hope for a fix from their end. If there is a quick fix/workaround then yes it will be suggested at these forums but as far as the program goes only the actual developers can fully support the game or fix any bugs. This is not a decision from the moderator/administrator team but it does make sense.

Very true. It's a compatibility issue most likely,. Try using a different recording program or see if there's a forum for the software you're using. As far as I know FRAPS is really good with that kind of stuff and the free version is pretty functional for a trial. Best of luck figuring something out
