Installer quirks - sinister - 05-07-2008

The installer freezes at the very end of the installation process. The last messages in the log are:

==================================

==================================
Execute: cp "/tmp/selfgz8461/tmp/installkey" "/usr/local/games/PenumbraBlackPlague/installkey"

==================================

(I typed the above lines manually because installer window doesn't respond.) I tried to run installer twice with the same result. Anyway the installation seems to be complete at this point, so it's not a big deal.

The ncurses one (sudo env DISPLAY="" ./penumbrablackplague-2567.sh) do not freeze, but it ignores the destination directory I choose and always installs into my home dir for some reason.

My system is Kubuntu 8.04.

Oh, great. I can't reproduce this again on the same machine...
