Heh, sometimes when I watch movies I immerse myself so deeply that I feel the same emotions as the main character. For example when I watched the movie 'Limitless' I felt so much anxiety I had to remind myself that it was just a movie and it wasn't actually happening.

Quote: Please state the facts, not the opinions.

And to be honest, Amnesia is predictable as to when a monster will show up.

"oh cool i picked up an item OMG A MONSTER"

"ok when i pick this up will there be a monster? yep there is a monster"

"oh cool i solved a puzzle OMG A MONSTER"

"yeah when i solve this puzzle a monster probably gonna pop up"

"ok the monster hasn't shown up yet but he probably will when i leave this room"
The vanilla game doesn't work this way. Only certain custom stories.

It has a few of those indeed, but I don't really think it matters that you can predict when a monster will spawn.

Yeah those sort of scares make up like a third of all the scares, but a good deal of them are totally random

I didn't even think much of the jumpscares cause I was so into the game. They weren't a problem.

I'm 16. I finished Amnesia TDD about year ago. I think it's most scariest game what i've ever played, but I prefer Penumbra more.

Must not criticize horrible grammar. . .
