Model exporting - OriginalUsername - 04-02-2013

Hey there,

I just made my very first model and I'm trying to export it to amnesia. I've looked up some tutorials (like criso's) but they're either for animations or not for amnesia. How do I put my model from maya 2011 to amnesia?

Thanks in advance!

Use OpenCollada for Maya 2011

Okay, thanks. But how do I make all the other files?

If you mean making .ent's and such, open the model in the Model Editor, give it a body and make it and .ent.

I got the .dae file, and it won't show in my model editor... I tried a lot of things to get it to work..

Triangulate your model before exporting.

Worked for the model viewer (without textures) but the editor is still weird. Thanks for you help guys, I'll try to figure it out -.-

I'm sorry guys. My stupidity level is over 9000 on this subject. Just treat me like you're teaching it to an 5-year old kid
