I thought many times about that, but never could understand it's meaning.
Spoiler below!

In Black Plague, when you make your first conversation with Amabel Swanson, the last sentence was interrupted.
She says: "Maybe now we can shoot the shi-"

What the hell is the continue of that word? shield? ship?

It's actually 'Maybe now we can shoot the shit." Must be an English expression, it means catching up with someone and having a general chat.

Got it..but many people couldn't understand it (except the USA and England fans), and it probably confused them more.
It's my first time hearing this, especially a female scientist which talks dirty...

I understood it, and figured they wanted the word cut off to prevent the mature rating to go up.
