Hey, im making a full conversion and right now im building a prison, but my doors don't show in game. They are in the editor though, and its just the prison_section door.
And yes i have deleted the map_cache :p

Try placing one in midair away from other objects and see if it appears. Could be that the prison doors are clipping with other things and flying off the map. Physics can go crazy sometimes in Amnesia...

Also make sure you didn't accidentally leave the "create on surface" box checked.
