I'm trying to help my friend figure out what's wrong with her game not wanting to run.
I've tried reading this guide here and there's no information http://www.frictionalgames.com/forum/thread-3754.html

There is no information? You should read it again. Even if there is no information(everything you need is there btw), check Problem X and provide us with the required info/file.
