Quiet custom sounds - vabalas - 07-28-2013 Maybe this was asked before, so sorry if I didn't notice it. I added a custom sound in a custom story, but it plays really quiet, I can barely hear it. I tried using 2 different functions: PlaySoundAtEntity and PlayGuiSound. Both ways it's very quiet. How to make it louder? (in-game sound is set to max). RE: Quiet custom sounds - DeAngelo - 07-28-2013 When you use PlaySoundAtEntity, what entity is it playing at? If the player is a distance away from that entity, it will be quieter. You can try just putting "Player" as the entity. RE: Quiet custom sounds - Akos115 - 07-29-2013 You can change the volume in the .snt file. If you doon't have one, copy one of the original files, rename it, and edit it. You will need Notepad++ I think. RE: Quiet custom sounds - vabalas - 07-29-2013 Did both of those things. But I solved it myself: I just amplified the sound about 20 times. Now it's as loud as any other sound. |
