More puzzles would have been great, it would have encouraged more exploration and then rewarded it.

I do like the game part of my videogames.

I think more puzzles would have made me feel like I was playing an Amnesia custom story. There were plenty and not many of them were really low in quality (though the quest with the centrifuge was much too elaborate for opening a lock imo)

Removing the organic matter from the door in TDD was an even more involved task.

Explain. I didn't see any puzzles in the game other than centrifuge or stuff that had been taken straight from the first game.

I didn't say AMFP didn't take after TDD in that manner. Actually, that puzzle feels almost like a copy and pasted variant of the acid puzzle with the padlock in the sewers, though with a bit of the chemical puzzle integrated as well.

Huh. Really. Well I find that hard to respond to.

I think the centrifuge puzzle was extremely easy.

Spoiler below!
You read a note saying the compound is made of two things and that it corrodes metal under a light, and then there's two hallways you can go into.

IMO a no-brainer to put two and two together (get it?) and get past this puzzle.

I wouldn't call anything in AMFP a puzzle, just a task or an obstacle.
