RE: Could more puzzles have made a better game? - Quizerno - 09-17-2013 More puzzles would have been great, it would have encouraged more exploration and then rewarded it. I do like the game part of my videogames. RE: Could more puzzles have made a better game? - Potato - 09-17-2013 I think more puzzles would have made me feel like I was playing an Amnesia custom story. There were plenty and not many of them were really low in quality (though the quest with the centrifuge was much too elaborate for opening a lock imo) RE: Could more puzzles have made a better game? - Fortigurn - 09-17-2013 (09-17-2013, 06:30 PM)Potato Wrote: (though the quest with the centrifuge was much too elaborate for opening a lock imo) Removing the organic matter from the door in TDD was an even more involved task. Actually, that puzzle feels almost like a copy and pasted variant of the acid puzzle with the padlock in the sewers, though with a bit of the chemical puzzle integrated as well.(09-17-2013, 06:30 PM)Potato Wrote: (though the quest with the centrifuge was much too elaborate for opening a lock imo)Removing the organic matter from the door in TDD was an even more involved task. Spoiler below!
IMO a no-brainer to put two and two together (get it?) and get past this puzzle. RE: Could more puzzles have made a better game? - Cuyir - 09-18-2013 I wouldn't call anything in AMFP a puzzle, just a task or an obstacle. |
