I've been wanting to use some assets from AAMFP, but the normal HPL2 won't allow it. Where can I get the updated version?

I don't think the update has been released. There will probably be some sort of announcement so don't worry.

It's still in Alpha/Beta stage (Or something. The most important thing is that it's not perfect yet and everyone's bugtesting.).

Why would they not? It's the least they could do in exchange for removing custom stories.
