No seriously, why? Am I missing something or...? I mean, if it were something like a purple brain, I'd understand, but why an eye?

It's just part of a bigger illustration : >. The logo is basically just a small part of an image that shows a creature (maybe upside-down) with a fairly disturbing face and hands.
