I really want to use some music from penumbra and play the music in my cs, even Amnesia tenebris lake used some music from it, but I'm kinda worrying if I get banned or copyrighted for using music from penumbra since it's another game from amnesia, but I promise I will put credits that frictional games did it and it's from penumbra but I still kinda get worried.
Do you guys think i can use it or not, I wanna make sure.

Using any stuff from Penumbra is alright since Penumbra and Amnesia are created by Frictional Games.

I know penumbra was made by the same creators of amnesia but penumbra is another game. but I think it doesn't matter if I use the music from it.

Yeah it doesn't matter. Heck you can even use the models!
Although you might wanna credit FG for Penumbra models.

Actually, it is not true what he says.
It is not allowed to use any stuff from penumbra because FG will get mad and will blame you. That is the reason why someone cancel a Fc mod with full of penumbra stuff

What the hell are you talking about? I used penumbra assets for my conversion mod. I havent heard a single complaint.

Well okay if we can use the penumbra models, are we allowed to use AMFP music too?
Im asking because most music parts in MFP contain parts of Jessics Curry singing to it. I just want to go sure i dont make tcr mad or something

You're free to use any assets part of Penumbra, Machine for Pigs and, in the future, Soma + other games by Frictional. They gave you the option of making custom stories using their game engine, I don't think they'd EVER ban anyone for using assets from other games they've made. You might wanna have a pointer in your credits as to where the assets come from, but more as a convenience. Otherwise just knock yourself out and go wild. MFP was a collaboration between these two groups. I doubt TCR wanna ruin the fun of reusing these.
