My amnesia won't run - Griffman14 - 05-04-2014
My amnesia won't start up, I've tried everything the troubleshooting guides said to do, and nothing worked.
when i tried to check the graphics card with the HPL.log file, it only says

and there's no main_settings.cfg anywhere.
it was just working ten minutes ago and now it won't work.
pc specs:
Windows 8.1
processor AMD A4-5300 APU with radeon HD graphics 3.40ghz
8 gb RAM
when i try to open the launcher it doesn't do anything.
if i try to open the amnesia.exe file instead of the launcher first it says failed to load config file.

After the problem occurs, attach the actual HPL.log file as mentioned at the troubleshooting guide.

Please post the log from the documents/amnesia/ folder as described in the trouble shooting guide.

That is the hpl.log from Documents/amnesia/main. I have no idea why it doesn't have anything else in it. I have the demo version, and that says the version is 4.3.12618 if that helps.

Possibly try and reinstall the demo, might also try and delete the documents/amnesia/ folder (will also remove saved games) and see if that helps.

deleting the files worked. thanks
