AAMFP Lantern billboard light isn´t attached in its place - Plazmater - 07-23-2014

Never mind, i found thread with files.

RE: AAMFP Lantern anybody ? - Artsy - 07-23-2014

I also tried to get the Mandus lantern to work...
I made backups of the TDD hand and lantern models and the lantern entity and put the aamfp ones in.
Does work, but not without all of those altogether. The lantern without the new hands model looks really weird...
And I also couldn't find a solution to the constant flickering. It just doesn't stop. I also had to import all the sound files myself. Big mess. Don't try.

Maybe DnAlange has a modified version of the new lantern? He has mod. versions of most lamps, the new elevator etc.

I'll follow this so that I'll know if there's a working version/method for the new lantern.

My AAMFP lantern now work same way as in AAMFP , except for 1 thing.

The light (i am not talking about light beam which shoots light) around lantern which helps the lantern indentify when lantern is On or Off, is not attached in its place.

Whenever lantern is making its animation while player walks, that light is not attached in its place and it looks like its stuck in 1 position.

While lantern is moving , billboards light is not.

Any way i can do it in patched Model Editor ?

Attach the light to the lantern body. Click the lantern body, select Attachments and attach the light to it.

Click the green body on the lantern. To the right side of the Model Editor, some new options should pop up, along with Attachments.

There is no body with those options.

Then create one. Create a shape which looks like the lantern and then create a body. Then they should appear.

Like this ?

Because it makes my lantern invisible completely in game.

Invisible? That shouldn't happen by just adding a body. I don't really know how the AMFP entities work so maybe I'm not the right guy to help you here.

But normally, yeah thats how its supposed to be to attach the light.
