Voice actress/actor And Writer - Daemian - 11-07-2014

I need someone to write and voice act for my little mod. Since, turned out, I'm not too good at writing stuff.
So there's probably someone better at this and may want to participate.

Basically it's a linear game, 5 levels, where one ends the next starts.
Spoiler below!

map01: Starts in a jungle, coming on a boat, a waterfall on the left, plants all around.
map02: Player goes deeper into the jungle, more plants and flowers, sunshine.
map03: The path leads to a hidden hut/cabin inside a large natural hole. More plants, water.
map04: Boat again, it takes player through a path of pink trees. At the end, a cave. Short utube vid
map05: Caves. Rocks, cracks, some plants, water, colors. A girl in a dress lays dead on an improvised bed.

This mod is not about horror and puzzles, is what they call art game, basically where the player just walks around a cute place and listens to a story.

The story I had, turned out too... small and poor for the mod, unattractive for a voice actor/actress.
That's why I want to give that part to a voice actor and a writer. If he/she thinks he/she's capable of doing both it's fine. Some people prefer to recite his own material.

It takes -at least- about to 30~50 seconds for the player to walk through each level from the spawn point to the exit on the other side, that gives enough time to play a part of the story. Anyways, the player is not allowed to leave the map until the narration is over.

Remember the resources you have to make up the story are not limited to what you see in the screenshots, but it's convenient. There's no problem, however, if you as the writer, decide to include something that it's not in the screenshots, I can probably add it right away. If you want, for example, to remove the dead girl at the end, to better fit your story, it's fine, we'll do it.

The style I expect it's dramatic, a drama story like AMFP, or whatever. I have AMFP's music planned, which most of them are kinda dramatic.

We'd need a writer now that could build up a story around a female protagonist so your voice can fit.

I also partake in writing, and look to have a book published this December, if I can get through the editing process (I'm lazy, so sue me. LMAO).

Did you have any idea's in mind for what you were looking for, for the female character?

Nothing in particular, I just want a story to go along with the game.

Ones there was an amazing guy called Pandachoko.
He was strong, smart, famous, and very sexy!
He was ones playing a game called Amnesia, made by Daemion.
After a while he was scared so much, he was making his own story.
That story was outstanding and began to grow in fans.
After 2 weeks and being on the top100 mods on Moddb he decided to make his own game called;
Daemions Swamp.
He build and build, hours \ days\ weeks!
After a year past, he decided to ask someone of the Frictional games forum for acting as a voice..
That day, a member came by, and told a story witch would end up to be the main story of the best upcoming mod.

I'm interested in writing a story.
Yet, the screenshots you uploaded only contain map 1-3...
Could you upload for 4-5 too?

(Note: Interested does not mean I'll succeed ^.^)


Oh, right. One more thing. You say you expect the music to be dramatic, but hopefully not all the time. With the scenery you have set, it seems calm music would create for a better atmosphere. Except, of course for the body in the end.

Alright, flawlessHap you do it -Thank you- you can choose the music, write the story, make any changes, anything you want.
In fact, I'm sending you the maps and all the stuff -it's less than 100mb- so you can see and decide what story would you write for it.
And any change you think it's necessary you can just go ahead and do it.
Just give me a min please.

Shadows are all disabled because they lose too much quality on large outdoor maps.
