Lazzer cannot join the forum - Neelke - 12-04-2014

Even though Lazzer didn't ask me to do this, I think he would appreciate it anyway.

For some reason, he cannot get on the forum at all, no matter what browser he uses. He showed me that no matter how long he tries to load the page, it would eventually time out. He's been removing plugins, used different browsers, finding viruses but nothing seems to have worked.

Is anyone knowing what you could do to fix this?

Is this exclusively to this website? In all browsers, everything works fine but this one?
By the way, Lazzer did post a comment only 2 hours ago.

Has he tried using a different device or account?

Try a phone or another computer

He tried out his brother's computer and on a tablet. They both worked. Judging from that, there's something wrong with his computer.

Clear your browser caches.

Could you perhaps explain how to do that exactly? I just wanna see if Lazzer did the correct thing.

What I can think of is that a virus might be blocking it, Sorry if this might sound like a stupid question but: What does it exactly say when he tries to go in the forum?

RE: Lazzer cannot join the forum - Neelke - 12-04-2014

I've said that in the first post.

If he's on Chrome, go to history and clear the cookies + cache from there. Firefox is options > advanced > network > then clear now the cache. You'll find cookies somewhere around there.

If the issue is for all websites, it might be a misconfigured DNS or proxy setting.
