Same error... so no Windows Vista support? Can I refund the game on Steam then? SOMA would be the first game I have ever tried playing that won't run on Windows Vista...

Are you sure you are replacing the exe in the steam folder? The latest exe doenst call GetThreadGroupAffinity at all.

The minimum spec for SOMA is 64 bit Windows 7. It would have been nice to be able to support Windows Vista as well.
But if you cant get it to run you should definetly request a refund on steam

Yes. Every exe is encountering the same error. Somehow, GetThreadGroupAffinity is getting called.

The error message is: "The procedure entry point GetThreadGroupAffinity could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll."

It mentions KERNEL32. I am running 64-bit Windows Vista. Is that part of the issue?

If this doesnt work then theres not much that can be done. Then it must be the compiler adding code.

KERNEL32 can be used by 64 bit applications as well. So that should not be a problem

Hi, I have Windows 7 with intel CORE i3.

I'm having trouble starting SOMA. I think the problem lies with my graphics card. Troubleshooting says the version must be 3.3.0 or more, and I think I have version 3.1.0. Is there no hope for me to play? If anyone has an opinion please let me know. Sad I've been able to play all Frictional games up to this point on my current laptop. I've attached my hpl file.
