Crossplatform versions of tools? - PythonBlue - 09-22-2015

First of all, I'm really liking what I'm seeing of SOMA, and look forward to modding it.

Alas, there's one problem in the way for me when it comes to modding: I'm a Mac user. I bought the game via Steam, and upon download, I failed to find the editing tools, whereas downloading through my VMWare machine running Windows 7 did present them in the game folders.

Therefore, I'm sorry to have to risk sounding like I'm whining, but are there plans to port the editors to the Mac (and, for the sake of other modders, Linux)?

At the moment the tools are Windows only. We have to wait and see how much interest there is before we make a decision to port the tools.

I dont know how many more Mac users want to use the editing tools, but like Python I'm one of these that want to use them Smile

Sign me up! Having several OSes, my favorite to work in is my Mac, so I'd be a happy bean if it gets 'em.
