Constant Crashing to Desktip [PC] - cyb0rgmous3 - 09-24-2015

First of all;

Great atmosphere, great game, lovely twists. Everything wrong with Amnesia has been done away with. Love it. Thanks a ton.

Now with my appreciation out of the way;

Absolutely unplayable on PC. A travesty. No save feature, auto saves are far and few. The loading icon doesn't guarantee a save. What sort of boggled design is this? Anyhow, going off topic there.

Constant crashing to desktop. See DxDiag attached. Thank you.

What I can say about the crashes is that seemingly turning on Vsync, Adaptive or Full, (Which limits my framerate to 30, mind you, unacceptable for a PC game in 2015) lessens the frequency of crashes. They still happen, but not literally every 10 to 20 minutes. More like anywhere between half an hour to an hour.

Another curious thing to note is that whenever I start a new game, regardless of how slow I play, the crashes start happening after I reach LAMBDA. Never before.

Any suspense the game would have is immediately converted into frustration. I am constantly taken out of the moment because the game crashes to desktop. Absolute game breaker.

Refunding is no longer an option as I put more than two hours into it. Please fix this.

I just started trying to play this game on a PC as well and I am having the same issue. I can not play more than a few minutes and sometimes seconds before I get kicked out to the desktop. Soma is still running in the background and I can re-enter the game using taskmanager. I am at a loss.

Looks like u have moved the Data and its cant read it correctly anymore.
Try reinstall and that crash is a appear of Memory lack. That could be a problem with system rights.
Try to run the game as Administrator.

That log is not after a crash, it looks as the game was closed properly. Where is the game from? The log says 1.0 and game has been updated on Steam.

I've not played the game since it crashed last night. Game is from GOG.

Try starting the game again, wait until it crashes and then upload the log file. Something was not right with the log file you posted.
